AGILITY
Agility is a continuously evolving canine sport that gains popularity every year. Agility involves the fastest and most accurate overcoming of obstacles by a dog that does not know the course, guided by its handler, who familiarizes themselves with the course in a limited time just before the group starts.
This sport requires very good communication, relationships, and a shared willingness to work.
Because this sport involves many sudden changes in direction and jumps, the dog should be examined before starting serious training and competitions.
In our breeding, we additionally check the dog orthopedically and cardiologically.
We cooperate with the best specialists and train at the Agilife club.
NOSEWORK
Detecting scent molecules and finding their source was once the specialty of working dogs, but today it is a rapidly growing activity that allows for "mental fatigue" in dogs, building self-confidence, making independent decisions, and strengthening the bond with their handler.
We are taking our first steps in nosework and having a great time during training.
Ciri aced the exams for all 3 scents: cinnamon, orange peel, and clove in three leagues: the Polish Nosework League, the Polish Academy of Zoopsychology and Animal Therapy (PAZiA), and Nosework Poland.

In October 2024, I took Triss to nosework training for the first time.
Initially, nosework was supposed to be a therapeutic activity for our labrador Wafel and to build confidence in our Shetland sheepdog Ciri, but we quickly got hooked on this activity, and it was only natural to introduce nosework to Triss.
We decided that we would train three dogs at the same time; I took care of Ciri and Triss, while my husband worked with Wafel.
Triss picked up the basics of nosework very quickly, which allowed us to slowly start thinking about approaching the nosework exams next year. Of course, we still had a lot to work on to avoid coming back on our shields.
Year 2024 - start of training -
Hau Sniff - Nosework Club Bytom
With the beginning of 2025, we have strongly focused on implementing the plan to pass exams in the Polish Nosework League and Nosework Poland, which are the two largest leagues in Poland.
On January 25th in Bielsko-Biała at the "4 Łapki" Dog Training and Therapy Center, we managed to approach the exams organized by Miss Terrier. Triss passed all three scent tests in a remarkable time and style, which gave her the opportunity to participate in competitions organized by this league in the future.
On March 2nd in Piesełków in Ruda Śląska, nosework exams were organized by Nosework Poland, and Triss, approaching the tests right after PT1 classes, passed all the scents again, also giving her the opportunity to compete in this league.
This year, we also trained outdoors in a group to introduce elements of distraction and action in new conditions, which will help in future competitions.
On October 18th, we participated in our first competition training.Nosework Poland with NoseWorld in Bytom, where the judge was,Aleksandra Gałka - Pacha. We only approached two categories: rooms and objects to check whether the competition conditions would be too difficult for Triss. In the object category, Triss placed 14th, and in the room category, she was 11th, which I think is a very good start as there were some failures, especially in the room.
On December 14th, we participated in unofficial competitions,The Lost Scent of Christmas - Training nosework competitions, organized by,O-KEY KM,where we achieved 3rd place in the overall classification in all 5 categories!
This is a great way to end the year, sharpening our appetite for the next challenges we are preparing for in 2026.
AGILITY
In terms of agility, we were on the field twice so that Triss could calmly familiarize herself with the obstacles. She really liked the tunnels. We also had one session with coach Anna Muszyńska, and Triss quickly grasped the basics, although she is naturally a problem-solver, and sometimes we need to prevent her from finding strange ways to complete tasks. We will definitely return to the course and continue training.
